As long as the scope of the document is reasonable (think wiki page), then there is no significant overhead incurred by resolving reified statement models. However this could be a problem if all the data was dumped into a single file in a scattered ordering since we might have to buffer a lot of data. But I think it should be easy enough for you to dump the data such that the resolution scope is local. Also, this is just a function of the syntax used to interchange the data. From this perspective, the RDR syntax is just sugar that makes it easier on the parser (or on the eyes of a person writing the data).
