This is actually the first option that came to mind for me too, but then I assumed that we were compelled to link to the property from where the information is proceeding. If we all agree that this is not necessary, we could follow this route (and hopefully add sentence capitalization to the additional information). Regarding adding 'Clarification' inline, I'd say it's not needed.
