Look at `modules/beta/files/shinken.cfg`, `modules/beta/manifests/monitoring/shinken.pp` and `manifests/role/labsshinken.pp` for how it's done for beta cluster. pinging URL and matching regexp should be fairly easily doable. I can probably help if you can list accurately:
1. The puppet role that's applied to instances that this monitoring should target 2. Which urls to hit 3. Which regex to check 4. People who should be alerted. Thanks!
