@jcrespo, what would you need to know about a change like this in order to bless it from a DBA perspective?
I'm imagining that we'd need an upper-bound and likely case for how many rows this would need to store in MySQL. It seems like storage will be our primary concern.
I've been holding off on bringing a pile of justification re. the importance of this work. Let me know at which point stating use-cases (for statement-level tracking) beyond this project would be helpful.
