Hello Kevin, Yes, WikibaseCirrusSearch can be tricky to install. I'd recommend asking your question again on the Search and Discovery mailing list ( [email protected]), where it's more likely to reach a member of the Wikimedia Search Platform Team, who are most likely to be able to help.
