Randy - Good suggestion. Ideally it would be great to have sub-groups or task teams forming that assist with important components of the community - for example:
* A technical work-group that attends to feature developments like templates for portal pages; * A editorial work-group that helps develop guidelines and support tools for editorial work in WIkiEd * An educational work-group that assists with co-coordinating issues associated with learning design in WikiEd * A Citizen media work-group that can help with developing processes for reporting WikiEd news on country pages and front page news ...etc. You've made an excellent start with categorising different roles members may assume in the community - but as you say, we seem to be missing the level of work groups or teams that help guide and support important collective functions in the wiki. mmmm - why wasn't Rome built in a day!!! To help move priority areas along a little - I'm toying with the idea of bounties (derived from some of the leading open source developments) - see for example: http://www.wikieducator.org/WikiEducator:Bounties Lets see how this progresses.
