Thanks Erik, Hey - without Mediawiki or Wikipedia - we would have a tough job motivating a project like this.
The significance of the grant for us is that the Foundation leading the investment in open education resources has expressed confidence in the wiki model. There are exciting opportunities in building capacity among educators in the developing world for all our free content projects. That's a good step forward. Hey - We're thinking big - the tectonic shift has a pretty big roadmap.
