High all,

what an exciting news!
Congratulations to all, who have contributed until now to make
WikiEducator happen!
Especially all authors from the developing world! And of course
Wayne, our optimistic motor! I think, to support the Learning4Content
project means supporting somehow the heart of WikiEducator and will
give an enormous momentum to our ideas. I guess, the William and Flora
Hewlett foundation is well recognized and I hope that this donation
will be a sign for other donors. By the way, I did unfortunately not
get any response from the German development agency GTZ on my plead to
support Learning4Content, but now with this success with Hewlett I
will try again right away.
The last months I was not writing anything in this forum, because I
was busy worth putting my physics course, that I am giving right now,
into the wiki. You can already read the first six pages in German at
http://www.wikieducator.org/Mechanics11 .
We are planning the first translation to English soon. To say it
shortly, I am experimenting with using our wiki as a regular medium
of my physics tuition. Until now, the results are quite promising and
my students are beginning to participate more and more.

But now let us to really celebrate this great step forward.

Günther
