Kathy... it's basically a reading group for a text by Illich called "Deschooling Society" - its a text that is oft referred to by people interested in large scale educational wikis and ideas around networked learning. The group has nothing to do with the core practice of WikiEducator, but may have some insight into how we're moving these types of initiatives forward -- its basically just to explore what Illich is talking about; perhaps it is just a bunch of words, or perhaps things like WikiEducator and Wikiversity are strategies that Illich would have liked. Please ignore if it's not your cup of tea.
