I just wanted to let anyone who was interested in the 'Learner as Protagonist' approach that I'm working with the Croquet Consortium to develop this idea further. It is pretty cool 3d-interactive, highly collaborative, and is an open-source project - I wonder if it is something Wikieducator would like to partner with?
Back to learning about Squeak programming (which is not easy for me) to eventually build something akin to the Arts Metaverse project at UBC (taking it a step further to learn 'core' content through the arts).
