Hello Nellie,

I am VERY interested in collaborating on such a thing.

We (Otago Polytechnic <http://www.wikieducator.org/Otago_Polytechnic>) have
started what I hope will be one of many "handbooks", the first one on
blogging <http://www.wikieducator.org/Create_and_maintain_a_basic_weblog>.
(Very much a work in progress)

Our approach is simple:

   1. We list all the items we think should be covered in an introduction
   to blogging (or whatever)
   2. This page becomes a contents page that links down to subpages for
learning activity pages and further information pages for each item.

Our goal is to have a bunch of activity pages and information sheets for
each item that can be quickly compiled into a printable workbook. This
approach we hope will make it so a workbook can be arranged and rearranged
by what ever teacher is putting together the learning plans for people -
whether it be for artists, business people, or teachers.. the limit is
determined by what range of activity sheets we can gather.

At the moment, we have our Community Learning Centre facilitators who will
be using these activity sheets to compile workbooks for helping people who
drop in on the Community Learning Centre computers and either start working
through a printed workbook self paced, browse activity pages on
Wikieducator, or participate in a course or workshop where a teacher will
direct and pace the learning activities based on the workbook she has
compiled for the group.

So I've been putting the word out for anyone who has activity sheets or
lesson plans for blogging. We hope to have activity sheets on all aspects to
do with blogging for a wide range of people who might be interested in
blogging. Activities for kids, adults, artists, business people,
professionals, hobbyists you name it.. But as yet, I have not attracted
anyone to so much as drop a link to something we might copy and paste :(

If you have an activity or lesson we might be able to use.. please drop the
URL here:

If you have more time, by all means help us to build up these pages.. the
project has been designed to be as universally useful as possible (I hope)
So I hope that our work wil be useful to you as well.
