Hi Bee, Whether it's a booklet, module or Handout4Teachers, I get the point - highly-relevant educational material which can make a significant difference to the grassroots, or anybody really.
There's got to be a ton of learning material out there - focused on disaster management, contingency planning, mobilisation, etc. The trouble is, it may not be 'free and open' - so that it can be localized for regional / local or specific uses. There's the carrot and stick approach: The stick involves shaming folks, until they say "Yes, we'll give it up"... The carrot involves creating opportunities for folks: "Give us your content, and the best and brightest in our community will update it for you / with you, and naturally you'll get a copy...." Another approach, which leverages both the carrot and stick - is to do both, and then find ways to help people feel good about the process, WikiEducator, and get them further involved. So, maybe we can look towards identifying who might have such particular content.... - Randy PS.
