Hi Steve, Leigh, Nadia et. al, I like the idea of having access to a wide realm of educational materials (this is growing everyday), so I don't have to 'recreate the wheel', and I can focus on adding my value to what others have created.
I also like the idea of being able to contribute to printed materials, knowing that there are people in our community who have more expertise than I do, in say audio and video....and they can give me help with developing learning materials for those formats specifically. We are the pioneers in a community that is growing....sometimes it's hard to see how things will unfold at this early stage. But we are growing as a community, and the world outside and connected to WikiEd is also growing in its acceptance of open source values, tools and applications.
