Yes Minhaaj, good choice. I REALLY enjoy the monthly award you are running.
I reckon you should design up a little badge that people can add to their
page. (or if anyone with good graphic abilities can think of one) I also
really like the idea that YOU decide each month too. I think you have
demonstrated great choices so far, and quite simply - you are playing an
important role in recognising and introducing members to each other. Knowing
it is you that is running this monthly award, those of us that discover
great user pages can simply send you a link for your consideration.

I have been running a few L4C workshops that tend to first focus primarily
on getting a good User page happening. Hopefully, once I get the classes
right, we will see more user pages with unique features, cultural
expression, and innovative approaches to the use of the Wiki to present
themselves. I think the innovation one can find in the various User pages,
is not only a great way of discovering things to use in the main content
areas, but a great way of getting a sense of who the people are behind
Wikieducator.

So my feedback is: make this monthly award something more with a graphic
people can have on their page saying they won the award from you, and as you
say, featuring them on the front page as well as the archive that stores
each winner.

Really nice project your keeping going Minhaaj. Thanks. Oh, and yes, Bee's
page is really nice.. very Bee in fact. And Paulo Coehlo! what an inspiring
author! His book The
Alchemist<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Alchemist_%28book%29>really
had a strong impact on me when I first read it. So true! So many
great things come out of Brazil.
