Hi Leigh, I've been connecting locally from NZ the past couple of weeks -- and haven't noticed major differences in response times from my url location when compared to Canada.
That said --- our traffic rankings and corresponding demands on the server have increased considerably over the last month or so. I see WE achieved a 78K traffic rank on Alexa yesterday --- all good from a growth perspective but does allude to the need for getting our Phase 2 hosting implemented. We've made good progress on this front in that Athabasca University -- Canada's premier online university have offered to host the WE servers which includes a significant contribution in kind with regards to the costs of hosting. Next time the responses are slow from your location -- Ping me on Skype with the url you're trying to access and I'll test it here from Mosgiel. Let's see if the problem is NZ specific.
