On my User page, I have links to all my projects at the top of the
page - newest, most active first. Not very pretty for anyone wanting
to know more about me, but it is a huge help to me. My User page is my
most personal space in WE. I claim this for my personal use.

By convention, a WE User page is a formal profile / CV style portrait
of the user. But there is a link to this page anytime I'm logged in
(which is always), so this is a handy place to have quick links to my
stuff - most active things at the top, in easy reach. If any one is
interested in me, they see that I'm a mess, but I'm busy and
happy. :o)

Which brings up the whole notion of WE use and how individual pages
are designated

personal space - information that is here just for my personal use (at
least for now) - pages that are my sandbox, project tracking, work in
progress

and more public spaces
- published - you are free to read, and copy, but I'd like this to
stay as it is because I need it to remain static - course notes for a
course in progress for example
- workgroup space - small number of contributors are working together
on a specific deliverable - you are welcome to read and comment, but
please don't alter the content
- collaboration wanted - an open invitation to join in and contribute

WikiSpaces provides this sort of access control.

How do others feel about this? What level of trust vs control is
appropriate for WE?

..Valerie
