Hi all,

Peter, I appreciate your proposals to see WE in the bigger context of
a OER ecosystem. But these thoughts should not prevent a group of wiki
practitioners to form an editorial board and start on improving
important entrance pages.

Please go ahead, who ever feels called for this!

I'd suggest to keep a wiki as lively as possible, this is what makes
it attractive. Regular updates of key events and hot projects are so
so necessary!

What about regularly choosing a running project, inviting the project
leader to write a short presentation and putting it on the main page?

BTW, I guess from observation of my students, that only a small
percentage of those visiting the main page are really reading it. It
is used as first URL to get into the wiki (landing page), and
afterwards sub pages are called.

Kind regards, Günther
