Hi Everyone,

I met Alex at the recent Open Ed conference in Vancouver - He is the project
manager for openSpace, the UCF-led specialist Art, Design, Media and
Performance open education VLE, which will launch in March 2010 featuring
units from the MA Professional Writing course.

We talked about the possibility of him (and his colleagues) doing something
on WikiEducator....so, I've decided to introduce him to our community
....and see what happense... (Yes, he has to pick up wiki skills!)

Alex di Savoia is a faculty member at University College Falmouth in
Cornwall, The United Kingdom.  Before becoming a member of the teaching
faculty, Alex was the Web Content Manager at UCF.  In that role, he was
responsible for developing the website; migrating it into CMS and
introducing a number of web 2.0 components.  He was also one of the
administrators of UCF's successful and popular entry peer-to-peer forums
called HelpMe.  Alex teaches a digital branding unit on a number of
undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  He also project managed UCF's first
distance learning course for the MA Professional Writing degree.

He is currently working a number of eLearning projects in partnership with
leading Media companies to support career and professional development
within the UK's media industry.
