I am still getting my mind around the role of UNESCO in all of this...to a certain extent I can see their bureaucratic point but I think that we as the wikieducator community have gone too far down the OER road...OER Foundation, OER-U etc to change now...it would be a marketing disaster for us.  Will our decision not to use the new acronym hurt us in any way?

OER's to “FOERSTER”
“Open Educational Resources”, or OERs.
From 1st April on, they are to be known as “Freely/Openly Enabled
Resources Supporting Training, Education, and Research”.
The change will include resources related to training and research.
