Hi Anil

I agree, the risks of enclosure or sites which are discontinued due to lack
of funding is an issure for both OER and open access materials. This is why
we encourage educators to replicate OER resources on as many repositories
as possible.

The wiki keeps an accurate history of every edit and it is possible to
reference a historic instance of any page. So for example, using the Link
feature on the WikiEducator toolbox, it is possible to specify the specifc
revision instance of a document hosted on Wikieducator whichwould enable
any site which supports the iframe tag to embed the orginal version. For
this reason it is not necessary to lock down editing on the orginal
version. Moreover, a static version is also available on the COL and UNESCO
websites.
