People tend to travel more in July and August, and someone may be interested in making a small detour to take a photo of a monument in a small village but they wouldn't be so likely to travel 200 km on a weekend in September. My feeling is that large cities and famous landmarks are already well covered in Commons, but less known monuments in smaller places are not. Then, I don't see a big problem in waiting until September to upload the pics.
