Monuments interest Open StreetMap, I was wondering if anyone
involved in this is going to the State of the Map conference in
Tokyo this September. It is basically their Wikimania and would be a
nice outreach. It would be too late to get anything done, but if we
get a nice implementation going, might be worth it in the long run.

I think a talk about WLM would be great there and related mapping
tools though not sure how much time I have to hack on them (maybe some
mobile stuff) and thus not sure I'd be best person to talk about them.
I think the cfp is out for a while so don't have to decide now.
There also is SOTM-EU in Norway I think and SOTM-US. I will probably
attend in Norway and hope more Wikimedians from the European chapters
can attend.
