I mean the list in Wikipedia. The database is populated from this list. So any error in this list is also present in the database.
Anyway any translation is an "unofficial" denomination of the monument. I agree to have two columns, one with the original denomination and another with the translated one, but to use the original denomination for Wiki Loves Monuments. The list of monuments has a lot of errors mainly because in Switzerland there is an on going process of administrative aggregation of towns involving a lot of small villages, so the same Swiss cultural office misses to cancel the original town and the monument is present twice: one time in the old administrative entity and another in the new one created with the aggregation of small towns. This may help a lot to monitor the 4 lists and to distribute the corrections. This year there are in the canton of Ticino 14 aggregations involving 50 local entities.
