While I think that the effort to host WikiConference USA would help
Cascadia Wikimedians itself scale up regardless of the year, I also believe
that an anonymous edit adding Seattle to the list of Wikimania 2016 bidders
is unconscionable without first getting a consensus within the user group.
Even with a consensus, there should be no IP posts "volunteering" Seattle,
anyway. That's just avoiding taking responsibility.

BTW, does anybody have any thoughts about when & where to have the first
Cascadia Wikimedians user group meeting?
