I wouldn't say it wasn't well organized. It was nicely organized, at least, being the first time it happened. Of course, there will be improvements in subsequent events held, but it wasn't a failure this year. Trust me.
The continental organization is planned accordingly and all is well. The jury we're currently looking for is to handle the images from Ghana. Some of us uploaded pictures thus aren't technically qualified to be part of a jury, simply because of Conflict of Interest. (put me on the jury, and I'll place 10 images I uploaded as best, from 1 to 10) :P So, if you're willing to be a part of the jury and didn't take part in the event (as in uploaded images) you can help out.
