New tool out: Most popular Ghana-related pages
Mr.Z-bot is now able to rank the most popular pages by number of views (per
month) that fall in the scope of WikiProject Ghana. Some might be surprise as
to how some of our articles have turned out. See Dumsor at #36 and Haruna
Iddrisu all the way down to #940.

Meanwhile these are essential information we can mine to understand what people
are actually searching for on Wikipedia about Ghana, who are improving/creating
those content and how to improve the high impact pages. For example the New
articles tool I presented the last time suggests that the combined efforts of
the entire Usergroup is nowhere near the amount of new content
[[User:Rberchie]] creates in a week. At the moment I don't know under who’s
auspices it is to evaluate such insights? and come out with recommendations so
we can move forward. Its no secret that the community is gradually unwinding
and IMO I think this is quite appalling.
We really need to sit up, maybe less talk, less mentoring and more editing on
our part can turn things around.

We now have a bot that automatically discovers newly created cat:Ghana articles.
catscan2 went down some months ago.
