Looking through the articles and the newly created ones, its amazing the
amount rberchie creates.

Under who's auspices? I think it's up to any/all of us to come up with the
insights.

In terms of editing, the community is unwinding. I guess there are peak
times for everyone in terms of editing. But currently, Raphael nails it so
well and I'm impressed. The rest of us, where are we?

Perhaps less talking and less mentoring might not be necessary. What is
important is upping our edits across board of the members whiles we keep
inviting many out there to contribute to wikipedia. One never knows who was
born a Wikipedian out there.

I think we also need to reform who we target in terms of looking for long
term editors. Who are likely to be long term editors? University Graduates
like Raphael, Researchers like yourself? What even motivates someone to
edit? Who and where should be our target audience?

And from the look of the stats from the new articles creation, is there any
contributor from within the list that's a recruit from a recent program in
the last year or two?

Remember we even talked of a survey to know what really keeps editors
editing? Perhaps that can also give us more insight.
