https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/The_use_of_Wikipedia_by_doctors_for_their_information_needs The WMF focuses on submitted grant proposals. The IEG grants cover a pretty wide range of projects, but some of them are research oriented and involve academics and academic institutions. While WMF executives can make a much better judgment of the boundaries of content involvement, there seems to be a substantial difference between agreeing to fund grants and commissioning specific research into a core topic like quality. However, affiliates should have no such concerns. I really hope someone picks up on this kind of project, perhaps I'll suggest it on the Wikimedia DC list or to Wikimedia New England. _______________________________________________ Wikimedia-l mailing list, guidelines at: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists/Guidelines Wikimedia-l@lists.wikimedia.org Unsubscribe: https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimedia-l, <mailto:wikimedia-l-requ...@lists.wikimedia.org?subject=unsubscribe>
