Gerard raises the benefits of Wikidata, while TundE describes the ongoing
impact WikiData has had on Wikimedia Commons along with the resistance that
WikiData usage is experiencing from English Wikipedia.

This experience aside, the discussion feels like I have been dropped a long
way into an already developed concept. I'm lacking any context of where
the discussion starts and what's being held for. Is there some information
somewhere to go through?
