Don't forget to register here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Event:STRENGTHEN3 Successful grant proposals require the right mix of people, expertise, organizational capacity, and partnerships. For Wikimedia communities, our distributed movement offers tremendous potential for building collaborations that extend across affiliates, disciplines, communities, and geographic regions. This interactive session will help Wikimedia volunteers, affiliates, researchers, organizers, and community members: 🔹 Identify potential collaborators within and beyond the Wikimedia movement. 🔹 Explore Wikimedia research, partnership, and community resources for finding project partners. 🔹 Understand how interdisciplinary and cross-community collaboration can strengthen grant proposals. 🔹 Develop a collaboration pitch to attract potential partners. 🔹 Connect people and projects around shared funding priorities. 🔹 Begin developing a collaboration plan for a future grant proposal. You don't need an existing grant proposal or an established project team to participate! Whether you have an idea looking for the right partners or expertise you'd like to contribute to someone else's project, this session is an opportunity to make connections and explore what's possible. 📅 November 6, 2026 | 15:00–16:30 UTC 🌐 Online event 👉 Learn more and register: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Event:STRENGTHEN3 Let's build stronger collaborations and expand the Wikimedia movement's capacity to pursue external funding together! #Wikimedia #Wikipedia #STRENGTHEN #GrantWriting #Collaboration #OpenKnowledge #ResearchPartnerships #Fundraising Matthew Vetter & Brett Buttliere Strengthen Directors
