Hi all, I've just been informed that there will be a major conference happening on Thursday and Friday this week to do with the Federal Government's proposed National Broadband Network and all things digital - why it will be useful, how, what to plan for, what to expect etc... The conference itself is completely packed out BUT there are a series of community events being run around the country in association with it on Thursday morning - in Sydney (Parramatta), Melbourne, Brisbane and potentially Wollongong. "This will include segments of the official video feed as well as facilitated discussion aligned with the themes of the national summit. The discussion session will be summarised and provided as feedback to the DBCDE summit <http://www.broadbandfuture.gov.au/>."
