The nice thing about a coordinated international project is we can put
up a centralnotice which reaches the broader public, and bring in many
wiki-newbies with these events.

There were quite a few events last year where the *majority* of
participants were total wiki-newbies, and I think that's great in
terms of expanding outreach to a broader demographic.
