Hello Everyone, The results for Wikimedia Board elections are out and unfortunately Indian candidates were unable to make it out. I want to thank all the candidates who had nominated themselves for this election to spread the awareness among the community.
I would like to thank all Indic community members who had submitted their votes during the election period, and I hope that more community members will be aware of the WMF activities and participate in maximum numbers. >From Indic language Wikipedia, Telugu language Wikimedian had voted in highest numbers, https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_elections_2015/Stats#WMF_Board_of_Trustees_Elections Having least number of eligible voter among the community was a major challenge to the Indic candidates. Mean time in future indic community support is mostly important.
