Like Peter I've also been following this for some time now. And I remember
that in one of their presentations they said the rebranding idea was
sparked by an email from one of the community members, I asked who sent
that email and what was the initial community response, so I can understand
the history behind but I didn't get a satisfactory answer from WMF.

Anyway I'm one of those who's in the middle here, so I concur with Ian's
comment of discussing this in-depth on Tuesday.

Best,
Bobby Shabangu
