તમને ખ્યાલ તો હશે કે ખાસ્સા ત્રણ વર્ષના વિરામ પછી આ વર્ષે વિકિમિડિયાનું વાર્ષિક સંમેલન - 'વિકિમેનિયા' ઓગસ્ટ મહિનામાં સિંગાપુર ખાતે યોજાઈ રહ્યું છે. આ વિકિમેનિયામાં ભાગ લેવા માટે છાત્રવૃત્તિ (આર્થિક સહાય) આપવામાં આવે છે જેના માટે અરજી કરવાની મુદત આજથી શરુ થાય છે. આજથી લઈ ને તે ૫ ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધી આપ નીચેના ઇમેલમાં આપેલી કડી પર જઈ ને અરજી કરી શકો છો. અરજી કરતી વખતે એ વાતનું ધ્યાન રાખશો કે પૂછેલા પ્રશ્નોના ઉત્તર સવિસ્તૃત આપવા અને તમારા વિષે કે તમે કરેલા કામો/યોગદાનોનાં ગુણગાન ગાવામાં શરમસંકોચ ન રાખવાં. એ સંદર્ભે કોઈ પણ માર્ગદર્શનની જરુર હોય તો વિનાસંકોચ મારો સંપર્ક કરી શકો છો, હું ભૂતકાળમાં આ છાત્રવૃત્તિ માટેની અરજીઓનાં મૂલ્યાંકન સાથે સંકળાયેલો રહ્યો છું એટલે મારા અમુભાવને આધારે તમને માર્ગદર્શન આપી શકું તેમ છું. જાળવજો, ધ.સુ. વ્યાસ ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Wikimania <wikima...@wikimedia.org> Date: Thu, 12 Jan 2023, 3:35 pm Subject: [Wikimania-l] Wikimania 2023 Scholarships Open: Apply Now! This year, we aim to be inclusive for Wikimedians worldwide in line with this edition’s theme: “Diversity. Collaboration. Future.” Scholarships for Wikimania 2023 are available in different types for traveling to Singapore: - Full scholarship: travel, accommodation, and registration are provided; - Partial scholarship: accommodation and registration are provided. All scholarship recipients are covered by Wikimedia Foundation Travel Insurance Policy. Whereas scholarship recipients have historically written a report to fulfill scholarship requirements, this year they will have the opportunity to do volunteer tasks during Wikimania. The Committee will work with recipients to find a volunteer role that suits each recipient’s skills and experience. Scholarship recipients opting to volunteer rather than write a report will be asked to volunteer for 2 hours over the course of Wikimania, with the option to volunteer more hours if desired.
