Many videos of math have been released into the creative commons domain. The headache? how to get them onto 'media commons.
Is there a straight forward way to transmit videos remotely from a site to commons withouth having it to touch a local pc? thanks. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: *Nkansah Rexford* Date: Sunday, May 5, 2013 Subject: [Wikiversity-l] Math instructor releases 2, 600 videos under Creative Commons Attribution To: Mailing list for Wikiversity <[email protected]> That means one will have to download all the videos, and upload them back to Wiki Commons. Isn't there anyway one can upload to Wikimedia commons with such fast means without having to get it touch a local pc before being uploaded? Lets resort to other mailing lists for help Thanks for the info though. rex On Saturday, May 4, 2013, Leigh Blackall wrote: > Who's going to copy them into Commons? > > http://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/37647 > -- +Rexford <https://plus.google.com/107174506890941499078> | +Blender Academy<https://plus.google.com/b/103109918657638322478/103109918657638322478/posts> | +233 266 811 165 l BFCT<http://www.blendernetwork.org/member/nkansah-rexford-nyarko/> -- +Rexford <https://plus.google.com/107174506890941499078> | +Blender Academy<https://plus.google.com/b/103109918657638322478/103109918657638322478/posts> | +233 266 811 165 l BFCT<http://www.blendernetwork.org/member/nkansah-rexford-nyarko/> _______________________________________________ Wikipedia-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikipedia-l
