Another little thing: in the Italian Wikisource, we welcome user as soon as they subscribe (manually), and we have little badges for thanking them for participating to the contest (es. https://it.wikisource.org/wiki/Utente:Darkluz78)
It's a very simple and easy thing to do, and maybe it is appreciated.
