Hi, We had a talk on the french-language Wikipedia a few months ago about the 404 error page displayed to the user when he types an URL like http://fr.wikipedia.org/Anything, instead of typing http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anything. The following problems were mentioned: - auto-redirect is bad for accessibility - and localization should be possible
It seems to be MediaWiki-independent. The error page on Wikimedia projects is http://fr.wikipedia.org/w/404Handler.phtml. Could it be possible to edit this page on our Wikipedia?
