I don't understand how someone who's spent the last eight years working on wiki (Hawaiian for "fast") software thinks it's acceptable for there to be a delay of several months between code being committed and code being deployed. I re-read your post from April (a few times) and Brion's reply. The larger dynamics of this situation (slower code deployment) are becoming clearer to me, so I suppose it's time for me to back off of this. I think the system you've proposed (and effectively implemented) is anti-wiki, actively harmful to volunteer development efforts, and will result in a worse final product, but that's just the way it goes, I guess. I still respect and admire all of the work you do.
