Perhaps the original requester wanted a change of the sender addresses
in LocalSettings.php:

$wgEmergencyContact = "sender <e-mail>";
$wgPasswordSender   = "sender <e-mail>";

Email notifications are sent with the $wgPasswordSender address an name
(see line 622
in
