I think more user friendly warning would be better.

Using dev jargon like Foo:Foo:Bar. 'Foo:Foo would not be appropriate since
most of the wiki users are not developers.

If the namespace drop-down menu at Special:MovePage is a misfeature what
would be a better fix?
