Manual testing is an important aspect of working with AI too. The other day I saw a patch submitted to the PageTriage repo that was AI-generated and that a reviewer determined didn't work, which was not a good use of the reviewer's time. Inexperienced patch writers may be tempted to just feed tickets into AI/LLM to generate a patch, then submit the patch without manual testing.
Anyway, I've taken a stab at documenting some of this by creating the page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Using_AI_in_MediaWiki_patches just now. Feel free to edit. Hope this helps.
