Hello all,
This evening when I got home I noticed my wireless [home] network was
disconnected. I checked the settings for the wireless nic and it was
looking for the connection.
I then enabled the WIRED connection in order to get back on the net. It
worked fine.
My concern is in my Router settings, whenever I make any changes and hit
apply it takes SEVERAL cycles for the changes to take effect, if they do
at all. Most of the times the browser times out and does not take me
back to the settings page. Watching the display on the router (it's a
Linksys BTW) I see it going through the reset process.
>From the Wireless Networks screen I am not seeing MY connection anymore,
though at times I am seeing neighbor's.
A couple of times this evening I would "see" mine but it would do away.
I guess my question is, is it possible my router is going out? Or at
least the wireless portion of it is? For like I said, I am currently
plugged into through it to my modem with CAT5.
