hi sharol - i do not use wordperfect(not!), but i too have serious
neuropathy in both hands and cannot use a mouse. i have been diabetic
for 40 years, and only have the use of one finger, which enables me to
type but not capatalize, in case you hadn't noticed. i have
experimented with several mouse substitutes, and have had success with
two, both trackballs that you hold like a pistol and roll the ball with
your thumb. one is by omega, costs $10 at the swapmeet, and uses usb,
which i can plug and unplug. a4tech makes a trackball that is not pistol
style, but has a thumb button that is useable, cost me 16 bucks. i also
have a miniature trackball, about the size of a very large ring, that
sits around your finger and squeezes easily. i forget the company's
name, but the model number is fdm-g51p. cost me $12 at the swap meet.
another thing that makes life easier is the smart office keyboard, model
ez-7000, has scores of extra function keys and even three that can be
programmed with text strings to save typing things that are used
frequently. it was a steal at $16, it makes my life a lot easier. i
would be glad to talk to your friend, perhaps i could help out in other
ways. it has been over a year since i have been unable to walk or use my
fingers, but life does go on. send me a private email and i'll give you

I have been called by a gentleman with a physical disability that makes

He has an HP 610C printer.
He wants more fonts. Does anyone know what I need to do to assist him? I
haven't done anything serious in DOS in so long that I don't even remember
the procedure to reinstall the program (just kidding, I do remember that
part). As I recall, I had several fonts available in 5.0 back when I had
the program on my computer in the dark, pre Windows days. I haven't seen
the machine yet -- it is a 1999 HP purchased used that seems to work well
for him except for this problem of fonts.
Anybody have any light to shed on this issue?
