I had 2 drives, each with Nero bundled - the same version,
however
I found that each drive would only work with the instance that was shipped with 
it,
and with the other drive disabled ( physically - either interface, or power 
lead removed)

Both drives worked concurrently with retail version of InstantCd/DVD and retail 
version of Nero
there are some problems reported with Nero and ASPI in XP SP2 environments
search the archives

And when installing new CD/DVD handling software make sure you have actually 
managed to uninstall older versions of the CDRW
handlers such as InCd
