Some time ago I reported a problem with my PC-clock.
It runs more than two minutes fast each day.

I found at last the sync-program....... In my case I selected a sync every 5 minutes.

Every five minutes seems like "overkill" to correct the problem...

Since the clock gains 120 seconds every 24 hrs, that is 5 seconds
per hr. If he syncs every 1/5 hr (12 minutes), the error can get as large as 1 second before a resync occurs. To keep the error no larger than 0.5 seconds would requiring syncing every 6 minutes.
