It's that one - it apparently only has one usb plug, not two, and has no other
source of power. My friend is getting error code 10 - the support people he
spoke with said it's an ms error and not a problem with either it or the new
drive (Centron 40 GB notebook drive). <sigh> [[His son (works in IT out of
state) ordered both for him.]]
Code 10 is device cannot start - I'm thinking well, duh, it doesn't have enough
power. <g>
It's a Dell 8100 laptop (I think that's the right model #) and has winxp pro on
it.
So the question: does it not have an external power source, will a powered hub
help?
