Seems to indicate it needs two USB cables (one for power).

It's that one - it apparently only has one usb plug, not two, and has no other source of power. My friend is getting error code 10 - the support people he spoke with said it's an ms error and not a problem with either it or the new drive (Centron 40 GB notebook drive). <sigh> [[His son (works in IT out of state) ordered both for him.]]
