ASSUMING the same K-V-M (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) are used on the XP machine (through the KVM or directly), then THEORETICALLY, there should be no changes to the new WinXP-Pro OS or registry. But since you brought us the "disabling the NIC causes a XP reactivation" problem, all bets are off. <VBG>
