Hi folks I feel I must have picked up a virus or weirdo somewhere. I had a folder that was part of a download called "ffc" ( I know that doesn't matter too much but someone might recognize it) and when I Left clicked to open it I saw the 2 files in there, for a brief second or two, then everything disappeared except the desktop wallpaper.
When "windows" re-started all was normal except that now when I right click on a drive letter to get properties et al windows crashes and restarts? I have tried the "restore" route but it fails to complete (thinks malware or virus) so I switched it off. No go. Then I though that last time I remember running SP2 again and it seemed to cure it so I did but nothing changed. Then I restored C drive (the complete image) with Ghost and it's still the same - right click on a drive letter in windows explorer or my computer and "crash" restart. Short of a complete reinstall ---- Ideas????? BTW I have reinstalled my mouse driver so it's not that....
